ECA is an international non-profit organization that provides educational programs for students. Our experienced team is made up of educators from North America, Europe and Latin America. ECA has registered offices in the United States, United Kingdom and Costa Rica.
Our number one priority is student safety, and we pride ourselves on our excellent safety record. All of our programs are fully insured and every staff member we employee has extensive experience working with children/teenagers and undergoes an extensive vetting process and background check.
In addition, we plan all of our programs in accordance with the highest possible safety and welfare standards to ensure a secure experience for every student.
The first step is to contact us by email, WhatsApp or telephone to arrange a consultation with one of our advisors who will guide you through the process. Upon expressing interest, you will be assigned a dedicated program advisor who will help you create the perfect program for your students.
If you are representing an organization or educational institution, you will need to confirm that you have authority to represent the institution.
For private groups no confirmation is necessary but we will need the details of the lead contact person for the group.
We operate a transparent pricing policy and all inclusions will be made clear in advance of any commitment.
We have fully inclusive program options as standard but you may choose to remove certain elements of the program or add them as options.
We are also able to provide programs with flights included but you may also arrange flights separately with your local travel agent if you prefer.
As we operate on a not-for-profit basis, the costs of our programs are generally lower than other similar international programs.
If you have a specific program budget, we can help select options that will be the most economical for your group.
We provide all costs/pricing up-front so you will be fully aware of the program costs before making any commitment.
At ECA we offer a free teacher placement scheme that is related to the number of students in the group and the type of program and options.
Contact us for more detailed information about the free teacher placement scheme.
The student requirement depends on the program and options but generally group minimums range from 8 to 12 students.
We have two options for group supervision based upon the requirements of the institution.
The first option is for Teacher Supervised Groups:
In teacher supervised groups, the teachers/staff from the institution are responsible for the students during the program with support from ECA staff/group leaders at all times.
The second options is for ECA Supervised Groups:
In this option, ECA provides full student supervision using a dedicated student welfare team who will accompany the group alongside the normal ECA staff/group leaders and teachers from the institution. In this option, the teachers from the institution act as observers of the program and are not responsible for student supervision.
Your program advisor will be able to guide you on the differences between the group supervision options.
We provide full support to all teachers during every step of the process. From initial contact, to promotion to the final program, we will be there every step of the way to ensure an easy and simple process.
Our goal is make the process 100% hassle free.
Visa and travel vaccine requirements depend on student nationalities and location of the program. Your program advisor will be able to advise you on any requirements and recommendations.
ECA can invoice and collect payments (via local bank transfer or card payments) from individual participants. Payments can be made in installments if requested.
Alternatively, the payments can be collected from the participants by the institution directly and ECA will invoice the institution.
